Conflict. Always conflict. It is as natural to human being as drink, feed or breathe. A story without a conflict is a dead story. In "Beleg project"  there is a obvious conflict: war. Spain and United Provinces fought a dirty war, plenty of sieges, sackings and bloody skirmishes in present Belgium. My webcomic is situated in one of these sieges. A really big one. In a moment when catholic armies star was specially brilliant. But United Provinces were not going to surrender easily and they were decided to fight. The big question will be : Is Spain forces powerful enough to aim a decisive stab to the rebellion? Perhaps you could think that because I'm Spanish, catholic will be presented as heroes and Protestants will be the evil enemy. It's a fair question, but my comic is not about good guys and bad guys. War is more serious than this. Honor, loyalty... yes, you will see all of this in my story, but also cruelty, humiliation and other mean things... in both sides.

Conflicto. Siempre conflicto. Es tan natural al ser humano como beber, alimentarse o respirar. Una historia sin conflicto es una historia muerta. En el "Proyecto beleg" hay un conflicto evidente: la guerra. España y las Provincias Unidas lucharon una guerra sucia, llena de asedios, saqueos y sangrientas escaramuzas en la actual Bélgica. Mi webcomic está situado en uno esos asedios. Uno realmente grande. En un momento en que la estrella del ejercito católico era especialmente brillante. Pero las Provincias Unidas no se iban a rendir fácilmente y estaban decidas a luchar. La gran cuestión es: ¿Es el poderío español suficiente para asestar una puñalada decisiva a la rebelión? Quizás puedas pensar que porque soy español, el ejercito católico será presentado como héroes y los protestantes como el maligno enemigo. Es una buena pregunta, pero mi comic no trata de tíos buenos y malos. La guerra es más seria que eso. Honor, lealtad... sí, veréis todo eso en mi historia, pero también crueldad, humillación y otras mezquindades... por ambas partes.
